Today was Morgan's first day of preschool! Morgan was so excited to start preschool this year because she gets to be like daddy and go to school. She often pretends to study like daddy, so she couldn't wait to go to her very own school. The morning of preschool she woke up early and got herself dressed and was ready to head out the door without eating breakfast. If you know Morgan, she does not forget to eat, especially breakfast. From the moment she finished breakfast she kept asking me if she could go to preschool with an hour and a half to go before it actually started. We finally left, very early I might add, and made it to the school with 15 minutes to spare. While we waited, Morgan talked to some other kids and would ask them their names. One mom commented that Morgan wasn't shy at all, and I definitely agreed with that assessment. As soon as the her teachers Miss Leslie and Miss Mindy opened the doors she ran right in to play. She didn't even look back to say goodbye. :( I went in after her and demanded a hug and took some pictures of her in her new classroom. She sure loves her preschool class! After I picked her up she kept asking me if she could go to kindergarten now that she had gone to preschool. She was frustrated because we had told her that after preschool she gets to go to kindergarten. All I could think was that she is growing up too fast as it is. It seems that kindergarten is right around the corner.
