Luckily we had very kind neighbors dig us out and our car! We are so lucky. It looks like we may need to purchase a snow shovel this year... Oh, and yes Morgan has socks on her hands. She decided that since they don't fit on her feet anymore that she would wear them on her hands. Silly kid...

Winter wonderland...
Well, like so many of my fellow Iowans, I am documenting the crazy blizzard that we had yesterday. I have not seen snow like this since I 7, and even then it probably was not as bad as I remember it because everything thing seems so much bigger when your little. :) Anyway, this is what we woke up to yesterday morning. It had snowed about 18 inches, but the wind had blown 4-5 foot drifts in front of our door.
View from inside our entryway.
Morgan and me in standing in the drifts. I love her face. :)
Here is our front door, which was not too bad actually. Morgan and I went on a walk later and saw that some people's cars were almost completely buried in the snow and they had drifts 6 feet+ in front of their house. We also saw an apartment with their downstairs window almost completely blocked by a snow drift. It was crazy!

Wow, it looks like you guys got it even worse than we did in Iowa City. Your snow drifts are huge! Good luck with that... I hope it melts soon! Morgan is SO adorable, by the way. I love the sock-mittens.
And it looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving too. That's nice to be able to have family so near for the holidays.
Oh man! Hopefully those houses you are talking about being fully covered isn't one of ours! I bet Morgan had a blast in the snow! I would definitely invest in a shovel!
