Kindergarten

Well today was the first day of Morgan's FULL day kindergarten! She is so big and I can't believe I have a kid that goes to school now. I never thought I'd be the mom to cry and get all emotional about her kids going to school because I was excited for her and I knew she'd love it. But, as the days grew closer I started getting a knot in my stomach. She would be gone away from me longer than she'd be with me during the week. The morning of we did her hair, which is a rare occurrence because she often doesn't let me do anything to her hair. I made a sign for her and she looked so cute with her big backpack.

Aubrey gave Morgan a hug as the bus was coming. It was cute but I missed it. Morgan ran to the bus and was the second person to get on. She was so excited for school. As she got on I got a little teary eyed, but held it together.

Here are all the kindergarten kids from our neighborhood. We have a lot of kids that are in kindergarten. Morgan's class has 7 of her friends in it. We thought it would be a problem but so far it has been fine. Her teacher is Mrs. Rogers and Morgan loves her. Her favorite subjects in school are art and music right now. She also loves having recess 3 times a day.

Aubrey is a little bored without Morgan and throughout the day asks me "where Morgy?" or "where she?". She's so cute.
