Easter Morning

I have to admit that I'm not very good at many things. One of those things making sure my kids are surprised. Easter morning I realized that the Easter Bunny hadn't hidden the eggs yet and the girls were awake. So I locked my door of my room and went out the back door (which is in our room) to hide the eggs. Meanwhile, Morgan kept knocking on the door, and yelling "Mom, what are you doing in there? Are you hiding Easter eggs?" I come out and say "Look outside! The Easter Bunny came!" Haha, well they believed me, this year anyway. They did a quick little Easter egg hunt and then came in for breakfast the dying of the Easter Eggs. It was fun.

We also talked with Morgan about the real Easter story and the Atonement and resurrection of our Savior. We are so grateful for his sacrifice for us and are blessed to know that because of him we can also be resurrected. Happy Easter everyone!
