Easter

Dying Easter eggs at home.

We had a wonderful Easter this year! A club at Mike's school hosted an Easter party and Easter egg hunt at the school. Morgan had a lot of fun with her friends and painting her egg. This was her first time meeting the Easter bunny. We never saw the point of having her meet the Easter bunny because we figured that since Santa Clause traumatized her she probably wouldn't want to have anything to do with a man in a bunny suit. But she did really well, I thought the costume was kind of creepy.

After the Easter egg hunt Morgan accidentally dropped her decorated egg and I told her she could just eat it. Well, she took me quite literally and bit right into the shell! She wasn't too happy about that and Mike and I had a pretty good laugh.

We had a ward Easter egg hunt as well and even though it was freezing cold the kids had a lot of fun!

We love Easter and we are so grateful for our Savior. One night before bed I read to Morgan about the Resurrection and she was able to tell Mike the story later and what it means to be resurrected. She's such a big kid, I can't believe it.
