today, my best friend asked me an important question. In between conference sessions, on Saturday, we walked to Botany pond to have a picnic. As we sat eating, a dog that had been playing in the water kept running over to us and shaking water everywhere. The dog left and with the threat of a wet dog coming to shake water all over us gone, Mike pulled out a velvet ring box to ask me to marry him. But, there was no ring when he opened the box. Thinking it was another joke (he had pulled a fake-me-out proposal a little over a month before), I just nervously laughed. He nervously laughed too as he searched his pocket for the ring that had fallen out. Luckily, he found it and I answered his question. It was the easiest question I've ever had to answer.
