Randomness

At the end of May we went to a BBQ with some friends to celebrate birthdays and have a fun time at the park. The Raccoon River park has a beach and an area where people can go swimming. The water was freezing but kids don't seem to mind.
Morgan kept getting the biggest wedgie, probably because her suit is a tad small. I couldn't help but get a bunch of pictures of those cute cheeks hanging out.

As you can see, Morgan still has a wedgie and Mike has manipulated his attire to be pretty fashionable as well. Good thing he's got hot legs! Ow!
Since the beginning of June we have had so many rainstorms. It seems like there has been a storm almost every day so far. Mike talked Morgan and I into running in the rain with him. It was pouring but we had a fun time. We ran to our car, touched it, and turned back. Morgan thought it was the best thing ever. :)
Checking on Morgan one night before we went to bed I found her asleep like this. I guess she didn't want me to take my hat back. :)
This was the day that we heard the first legitimate tornado siren go off since being here (not our last I'm sure). Morgan and I were alone and it was scary at first. But, then I realized the siren wasn't for a tornado, but for the 80 mph winds. So, I went out and took some pictures of the thunderstorm rolling it.

Those tornado sirens are terrifying, aren't they??! I love that you guys are making the best of the rainstorms though... How fun to just go run in the rain. We had to do that the other coming out of the grocery store... Not as fun when you're not expecting to get wet. Oh, and I LOVE the beach pictures!!! Too funny!
