How does that saying go?
"If you don't laugh you'll cry"? Well, yesterday evening the dreaded "my child gave themselves a hair cut" disaster happened. Morgan was in her room for quiet time/nap time and when she came down the stairs later she looked a little strange. She found my sewing scissors and went to town on her hair, her Barbie's hair, and her My Little Pony's hair. She had quite the mullet going on so I couldn't help but burst out laughing while attempting to scold her for being naughty. Once I regained my composure we had another talk about not touching scissors. She has seen me cut Mike's hair so she told Mike that she looked like him.

My attempt at "fixing" her hair. She has a little boy hair cut and she refuses to wear barrettes or headbands. We'll have to work on that. She's still my cutie pie though. :)

Hmmm...maybe you should try one of those door knob locks for your bedroom. That would prevent any more scissor or make-up mishaps. Poor Morgan. She had such pretty curls, too.
oh that sucks! It has happened to almost everyone I know. It is bound to happen eventually I might just put them all in a box and hide them for a while...... then again the speed girls used nail clippers.. hahah so curious. So cute and you just can't get mad right? She is a cutie no matter what!
OH MY GOSH!!!! I can't believe that happened! I love the before pics. You did a great job attempting to fix it, I wouldn't know where to start! She definitely made herself a few different distinct layers, maybe that was her telling you she prefers the layered look, haha! Well you did a great job and don't worry hair grows back! When I was little I didn't want bangs anymore so I thought the answer to that was to cut them off to my scalp, I learned my lesson! They took a long time to grow back! See you guys soon!
I'm dreading the day Chloe does this...it's bound to happen some day, right?
Morgan looks adorable with short hair :)
Haha, that is too funny! Sad, but funny. You did a great job fixing it though. She looks adorable! Let's just hope she doesn't get a hold of scissors now... She wouldn't have anything left!
Oh no!! I remember doing that myself once... with the help of a cousin. I hope Morgan never helps Eden to do the same:)
Oh boy, I think I would have died! She did quite the mullet huh?
She just wanted some steps in her hair. Those are in style these days!! haha. I cut my hair off when I was about that age too. :)
oh no!! she is still cute though. :)
