This was our first time taking the kids to an amusement park. Mike's been dreaming about taking the kids to Disney Land, so this was the closest and cheapest alternative to that. Unfortunately, Aubrey got a fever and wasn't feeling too good. But, thanks to some awesome friends we got to go to Adventureland in the morning while they watched Aubrey. I came back in time to feed her lunch and put her down for a nap. After her nap Aubrey and I went back to Adventureland to go on some kiddie rides and pick up Morgan and Mike.
Morgan did awesome. She went on the swinging pirate ship boat and thought it was pretty fun. She was more scared to go on the Ferris wheel which is a little strange, but she loved that too. While I was gone, Mike took Morgan on a real roller coaster. He said her eyes were about to pop out of her head, but she didn't scream or cry. She didn't want to go on it again but was excited that she went on it with her dad.
I love how as I was taking this picture the ride operator photo-bombed my picture. I thought it was funny though because I think as I was taking the picture he even said "photo-bomb." haha
All in all it was a pretty fun day and we were glad that we could hang out and have fun together as a family. :)
