Afterwards we convinced our husbands to take us to the St. Patrick's day parade. It was fun! The highlight of the parade for me was the HUGE Irish guy in a kilt, (I swear he was a giant), and the bus that was made into a convertible. And, what would an Iowan parade be without some tractors!

St. Patrick's Day
Let me start off by saying that I don't normally celebrate St. Patrick's day. I'm not one hundred percent sure what it is that we are celebrating on that day (I gather it has to do with St. Patrick). :)But, it can be fun, especially when you have kids. Today we started the day off with our friends who had a St. Patrick's Day breakfast with green pancakes, and green milk, and other cute St. Patrick's day themed things. I didn't get any pictures, but trust me, she doesn't do anything that isn't cute.
