Every year West Des Moines has a festival called Illumifest. I believe it is a celebration of Chinese culture. This was our first time going and it turned out to be pretty fun! They had ton to do and all of it was free. So considering that everything is free it was very busy and crowded. They had free hot air balloon rides, free carnival rides, free acrobat show, free inflatable bouncy houses and stuff for kids, free paddle boat rides, an outdoor movie and fireworks! It was crazy busy and sadly we didn't get to do close to everything but we had a blast.
Morgan got to ride the teacups ride, a swing ride, and jump in the bouncy house. We watched the hot air balloons and some of the acrobat show. If it didn't get so cold we would have stayed for the movie and fireworks, but it was freezing and the babies weren't digging it too much. :)
