Mike participated in his white coat ceremony this Saturday. For those of you who don't know what that is or what that means, I'll explain. The white coat ceremony is considered to be a rite of passage for medical students and other soon-to-be health care professionals. It marks the student's transition from the study of preclinical to clinical health sciences. At some schools, where students begin meeting patients early in their education, the white coat ceremony is held before the first year begins.
It was a good experience and I was really grateful that Morgan sat (most of the time) still for the whole 2 1/2 hours we were there, and I might add that she didn't have a diaper on! Mike looked handsome in his white coat of course. :)
